Our secret origin story
My wife wanted security screens for our home because I travel a lot and she doesn't feel safe when I am gone. As a martial arts instructor who has spent the last 4 decades helping students be more mindful about personal safety, it made sense to take extra precautions about home security.
How can a homeowner prevent burglaries without putting bars on the windows? And without the larger investment that security screens entail? Security film to rescue!
After doing extensive research, we chose Armorcoat®, a security film manufactured by a subsidiary of the huge global conglomerate, Saint-Gobain.
3M offers a competing product. And the truth is, we were attracted to it because of the brand name recognition. But after digging deeper, we learned Armorcoat® is actually a better product and the same one chosen by the US Government for securing the FBI Building, The Capitol Building, and the Department of Labor Building in Washington, DC.
